busier is greater

Normally your guy isn’t a tube addict, however during the weekend evenings he’s in control of the remote and you’re stuck watching football the rest of the evening. The football season lasts for around - months, you should know that it’s no use trying to wait it out. When it does finally finish, before you know it, it’s the beginning of a new season already. If you haven’t learnt it yet, be advised that if you can’t beat it, join it.

To appreciate the game, you’ll have to put in some effort. Learning all at once can be difficult so take it a step at a time. The following points should make your undertaking smoother

- It’ll be easier if you can find a player that'll hold your interest first. Check out the sports news for some popular football figures like David Beckham, Cristiano Ronaldo or any other hunk you can discover.

- Learn some more about the player and the team he plays for, his history and his achievements and whatever else you can find out. The more you know a player the more you'll enjoy keeping up with his progress.

- Once you've learnt about the player and the team he plays for, read articles and news about them to keep yourself updated and ready for conversations if need be.

- Talk to friends or family members about the game and visit blogs. Sharing the perspectives of others can help you see and learn the game, the teams and players from different angles.

- Watch at least one football game a week and pay attention to the commentary. Soon you will find you are speaking and understanding the entire football lingo.

- Plan a social gathering around a football game well in advance. This way you will have time to participate in the event, instead of actively hosting the party.

- Keep this up and in no time you’ll be an expert on the game…or at least that’s what all football fanatics consider themselves to be!
